BCB Corporate Services approached Colin Poon (Studio Gris) and I to do their corporate rebranding after the sale of a large majority of their previous company - BC Bearing Engineers Ltd.
While the sale of the company claimed the BC Bearing identity, BCB Corp still remained an umbrella for several companies they retained. Those companies identified with the idea of 'BCB' as short for BC Bearings, who the CEO wished to remain tied to concept wise. With that, the short hand 'BCB' was chosen as the company name.
The companies that BCB Corporate Services retained after the sale still were focused within the hydraulic fluid power and bearing industry.
The icon of the logo is focused to communicate that concept of 'ball and fluid' based industry. The type chosen was selected to convey strength, and modernity due to the companies ties to heavy industry.
Printed collateral utilizes a metallic copper pantone swatch for the logo.
