Hey Brian,

I'm on Windows 7 so I'll for sure check into that. I've beeen using Acronis to do back-up's but it is a bit of a headache . The velociraptor drives seem to look really solid as well, also more stable than the SSD's... I considered them a while ago but never pulled the trigger. There was just a fix announced a couple days ago for the Sandforce SSDs. Prior to then all the manufacturers using the technology in their SSDs have been scratching their heads to come up with solutions to solved the crashes. I haven't installed yet since it's a ton of work and re-formatting since I have to break the array.

Thanks for the comment!

sounds like a pertty bad ass computer, I set up something similar about 3 years ago, but unfortunately SSD was out of question back then. I ended up with Velociraptor 12.5k RPM drives for OS and Scratch. Are you running Windows 7? What are you using for backup? I was looking for a good back up software for a while and just recently discovered RoboCopy that comes built in with windows 7, the mirror function is great, only copies over new files or modified files. Anyways longest blog comment ever, enjoy the new pc!
